    Our Purpose

    Schools teach music. We teach the music industry.

    There’s an entire world beyond the spotlight young musicians dream about, but most don’t have the money or connections to see it, much less picture themselves inside it.

    We open that world up for free, giving students six weeks of hands-on experience alongside professionals who’ve built lives in music.

    San Diego is where we first proved our music education nonprofit model, removing the roadblocks that make music feel like a dream kids have to outgrow.

    The goal isn’t to shrink the dream. It’s to show students how many paths exist beyond center stage and help them see which ones feel like theirs.

    What Started Here Goes Further

    It's one thing to tell kids they can have a future in music. It's another to help them build it. That's what we designed our program to do, and we put it to the test in San Diego.

    A local studio opened its doors to our first group of students, and we captured their journey on video to show what talent can do when access finally matches it.

    But we’re far from finished. With help from sponsors and individual donors, we’re raising funds for a mobile recording studio to bring the program to more kids, in San Diego and beyond.

    Our youth program in San Diego shows teens that “making it” doesn’t mean one thing. We introduce them to real roles across the industry, helping them build technical skills while practicing the teamwork, compromise, and communication every job requires.
