Although we tend to think of American Idol first, because it's so uniquely focused on singers, there's another show that sometimes delivers incredible musical talent as well, and not just vocally. If you've yet to see any of America's Got Talent (AGT), then you're in for a treat today.

Now this talent showcase steps well outside the bounds of music, so you'll see everything from dancers, to standup comics, to even magicians at times. It's a much broader spectrum than American Idol fans are used to seeing.

However, musicians and vocalists still often make appearances on AGT, and as you're about to witness, sometimes the results are spectacular.

Although this particular performance is not from a student like we typically promote here at MMI, we're sharing it today simply because it so perfectly highlights the sheer power of music in our lives. Ironically, the performer does indeed work at a school, however, which adds a nice little twist to the story!
