Drive For Five
We are excited to bring our program to Nashville, Phoenix, and San Diego in the fall of 2025
Mobile Music Institute is thrilled to announce the RE-LAUNCH of our 6-week program, offering passionate high school students the chance to pursue their dreams in the music industry.
The program allows students to choose a music genre to focus on. They form a band and work together to develop the music, production, and marketing of their songs. The program also includes critical thinking skills, budgeting, and financial literacy.
The Teaching Pillars of MMI
We seek individuals who aspire to a future in music and have the passion to pursue their dreams. MMI offers a comprehensive curriculum to help students understand all the opportunities available in the music industry.
Our organization is built on the principles of demonstrating the drive and hard work needed for success, encouraging curiosity, and fostering forward-thinking.
Launching our first program in San Diego during COVID-19 was an enormous challenge, but we did it! Thanks to the hard work of many people and the talented students from Hoover High School in San Diego, California, we look forward to sharing our vision with five new locations through our Drive for Five Campaign.
Funds raised will be used to find the best teachers and mentors, provide state-of-the-art equipment, and develop mobile recording studios, giving passionate youth the opportunity to live their dreams in the music industry.
Our after-school programs feature special guests who educate the kids on what it truly means to live the dream. Bonnie McIntire, the keyboard player for Selena Gomez and Melanie Martinez, had a fantastic Q&A session with the kids, along with memorable teaching moments.

Mobile Music Institute is a tax-exempt public charity (EIN #85-4236695). All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your generous financial donation.
Other Ways to Help
Financial contributions aren't the only way to donate to music education. Some people give a Saturday, a spare mic, an extra interface, or a skill that calms a room when nerves hit. You can mentor, volunteer, donate gear, or spread the word so the next student hears about us in time. It all adds up to access.
